Chuck Berry
A truly bold and captivating performer. more
Vinicio Capossela
He often gets lost in rather improbable flights of fancy. Still better than many other renowned singer-songwriters. Just not better than Vasco Brondi, though. more
Metallica
They're not my favorite group, but some works are certainly worth appreciating. more
The Allman Brothers Band
Really great. Big Duane. more
B.B. King
The name says it all. KING. more
Rory Gallagher
Certainly talented. more
Slipknot
Their songs scare me. I don’t listen to them because then at night I have nightmares. They are wicked. more
Salmo
Astute in the critique of Yoko Ono. more
Paul McCartney
Infinite spans above Lennon. Thank you, Paul. more
Yes
Idyllic. Thank you for producing enjoyable music. more
Pino Daniele
Wine gets better with age, Pino Daniele does not. We still have an excellent memory of you. more
Maroon 5
How small-minded. more
Alex Britti
Great virtuoso made in Italy who has always been underestimated. Let's say he's looking for them with a production that is not up to his level. more
King Crimson
Really shrewd. more
Dante Alighieri
Good but definitely inferior to Fabio Volo. more
Fabrizio De André
At times funny, perhaps a bit too cynical. There are better options. more
The Doors
Overrated from the start. I'm sorry Jim but that's how it is, you had no talent, neither did the others. more
Paul Gilbert
One of those many virtuosos with all show and no substance. It doesn't matter how many notes you play, but which ones. more
Meat Puppets -Up on the Sun
In this splendid album, the Puppets of Flesh reach levels of creativity that are nothing short of sublime, especially the beautiful title track and the instrumental Maiden's Milk, but the rest is no less impressive. more
Death -Individual Thought Patterns
It’s the fifth album by Chuck Schuldiner, accompanied by a stellar line-up, the best he’s ever had for the Florida band: Gene Hoglan on drums (inhuman), Steve DiGiorgio on bass (I can’t find suitable words), and Andy Larocque on guitar (Mr. Heavy Metal Riff). It is precisely the presence of the latter that makes the fierce and compact sound much heavier, even though the typical brutal accelerations that have always accompanied Death are not lacking. more
