I am a "kid" born in '63 but although I can't really consider myself as such, I have a generally good physical appearance.
The point is another: I was still too young to witness in real time the Prog Rock wave that arrived in the years we all know; in '68 I believe I was in first grade and people like Genesis and King Crimson had already released their first album.
Fortunately, it didn't take long to catch up on this delay, being able to fully experience it at least in the last years before the total decline.
But in the end, it wasn't too important to be there live while the phenomenon was happening; all the music I listened to from that moment on started from there, while I was just a teenager.
From that moment I bought records on a weekly basis for at least 20 consecutive years; and my tastes ranged within rock, flowed into jazz and all possible contaminations between these two primordial genres, including classical music.
I also have respect for Italian singer-songwriters, so I can confidently say I have a decent collection of vinyl records and CDs.
I want to specify that I am a listener and judge not necessarily objective; meaning I can certainly appreciate an album unanimously recognized as an "masterpiece," but with the same intensity also a "lesser" discographic work, which however connects me to positive or negative particular events in my life.
I can't stand those who, when writing negative reviews, go low by disrespecting the artist or the commenter of the reviewed work, even if it is perhaps only a question of immature age-related behavior.
