Live at B.B. King Blues Club March Horses

This electrifying live performance is a good example of how to play blues rock without appearing excessively old-fashioned or nostalgic.

An honest commemorative LP, without particular flair but without evident moments of boredom.

Listen to Yardbirds' soulful live blues rock tribute and explore their timeless classics today!

Note: Many different recordings of the song exist, each with differing lyrics. I have tried to collate the important lyrics here - inevitably some lines will be missed out, and the order of verses changed. The studio version consists solely of the middle three verses. Other recordings, in particular the 'Five Live Yardbirds' and the BBC sessions versions, start with the first verse and also include the last verse (both in '{ }' braces).

You and Live at B.B. King Blues Club

The Yardbirds

The Yardbirds are an English rock band formed in London in 1963, key to the British Invasion and famed for launching Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. They bridged blues, pop, and psychedelia, pioneering fuzz, feedback, and raga-tinged sonics on hits like For Your Love, Heart Full of Soul, and Shapes of Things. After disbanding in 1968, they reformed in 1992 and have continued to tour and record, including the 2003 album Birdland.
