The Sick Rose

The Sick Rose are a Turin-based garage-punk band formed in 1983. Their debut Faces (1986, Electric Eye) is hailed as a landmark of the garage revival. Shaking Street (1989) shifted toward a Detroit-infused rock’n’roll. In the 2000s/2010s they embraced power-pop with Blastin’ Out (2005) and No Need For Speed (2011, produced by Dom Mariani), returning with Someplace Better (2018) on Area Pirata.
