Savoy Brown

Street Corner Talking tarkus

The music reaches inside you and passes through, shaking your soul and warming your heart.

A band in my humble opinion somewhat forgotten and to be rediscovered, especially from their beginnings until the early seventies.

Explore Savoy Brown’s vibrant blues rock sound with Street Corner Talking and experience a true classic from the 1970s!

You and Street Corner Talking

Savoy Brown

Savoy Brown are a British blues-rock band formed in London in the mid-1960s by guitarist Kim Simmonds. Emerging from the British blues boom, they became known for relentless touring (particularly in the U.S.) and a sound spanning electric blues, boogie, and hard-edged rock. Key albums include Raw Sienna (1970), Looking In (1970), Street Corner Talking (1971), and Hellbound Train (1972). Vocalists Chris Youlden and Dave Walker were among the notable members during classic periods.
