More than half of my life has been played by an ambient music album.

We are facing one of the most important albums of the XXI century considering what it belongs to.

This review reflects a deeply personal and nostalgic connection to C418's Minecraft - Volume Alpha. Though the author admits a lack of technical knowledge about ambient music, the album clearly touches a significant part of their youth. The music evokes shared memories and empathy, marking it as an important cultural work of the 21st century. It transcends typical praise, emphasizing emotional resonance over expertise. Dive into the nostalgic ambient world of C418's Minecraft - Volume Alpha and experience a timeless musical journey.

The story of this album begins in 2002, after the first experiments with the Playstation and the game 'Music', I started something more serious with Fruity Loops.

Dedicated to those who love simple electronic music, short pieces, not too pretentious, and a hint of ambient/new age in the last tracks.

Rael's self-produced electronic and ambient album marks his final musical creation after years of experimentation. Featuring short, unpretentious tracks with elements of ambient and new age, this album reflects a long creative process from 2002 to 2020. The artist shares this work modestly, offering it at a nominal price for enthusiasts of simple electronic music. Listen to Rael's unique ambient electronic album and explore the artist’s final musical journey.

Four Tet inhibits melancholy and makes us (re)live the long days and vivid colors of Summer, making it a mental season.

The model is much more yoga-soft with oils and massages than loud-club.

The review reflects on experiencing Four Tet's Sixteen Oceans during lockdown, highlighting its calming, eclectic instrumental sound that cultivates mental peace. It contrasts the album’s serene and natural atmosphere with confinement’s monotony. The music invites listeners to embrace introspection and the subtle beauty of everyday views, offering comfort and a sense of renewal amid global uncertainty. Listen to Four Tet's Sixteen Oceans and find your calm within the music's serene waves.

Those expecting a replication of the dreamy trance of ‘Fable’ and ‘Children’ were indeed disappointed.

23am is an uneven album that disappointed not only early fans but also the 'electrophiles' audience Robert aimed at.

23am, Robert Miles' sophomore album, diverges greatly from his debut Dreamland's dreamy trance hits. It explores ambient, chill-out, drum and bass, and live instrumentation with spiritual and conceptual themes. While some tracks like "Freedom" and "Textures" stand out, much of the album struggles with pacing and uninspired arrangements. This bold, yet uneven effort disappointed fans expecting more dance hits and marked a turning point in Miles' career. Listen to Robert Miles' adventurous 23am and discover an experimental side beyond the trance hits!

AIR (Amour, Imagination, Rêve): the duo’s creative hideout in Paris.

They can finally begin a sublime work of musical assembly, aware of being refined plagiarists of an ethereal and timeless mood.

The review narrates how Air, after their acclaimed album Moon Safari, approached the challenging task of composing the soundtrack for The Virgin Suicides. They captured the 1970s atmosphere by imaginatively 'stealing' inspiration from unreleased Pink Floyd tapes. Using vintage instruments and their signature sound, they created a sublime, ethereal film score that blends nostalgia and mood perfectly. Dive into Air’s dreamy 70s-infused soundtrack and experience The Virgin Suicides’ timeless mood today.

"No Geography manages to combine past and present, vintage and contemporary."

"With 'Universe Has Sent Me,' Ed and Tom prove they can still lead listeners toward unknown galaxies."

No Geography sees The Chemical Brothers revisiting their big beat roots with fresh energy and cosmic atmospheres. The album balances dancefloor beats and reflective moments, enriched by collaborations with Aurora. While it may not surpass their best works like Further or Dig Your Own Hole, it delivers a cohesive and enjoyable experience that bridges past and present sounds. Discover how The Chemical Brothers blend nostalgia and fresh sounds in No Geography—listen now and experience their cosmic journey!

It is a voice sweetly distorted; a sugar that does not cause the diabetes that is banality.

Morphing is indeed, in my opinion, the track that represents them; the deepest and most dangerous track.

Elsiane's album Hybrid offers a unique and emotionally intense trip-hop experience that took almost a decade to complete. The duo combines warm electronic beats with deep, existential lyrics, highlighted by Elsieanne Caplette's unaltered, expressive voice. Standout tracks like 'Mend' and 'Morphing' showcase their ability to evoke dark yet inviting atmospheres. The album balances haunting melodies with moments of light, creating a rich listening journey. Listen to Elsiane's Hybrid now and dive deep into a hauntingly beautiful trip-hop journey.

I listen to you when I go grocery shopping, when I'm in the bathroom, when I cook, when I work, and when I write reviews of your program on Debaser.

Lo-fi hip hop... relaxes me more than a Thai massage, it takes away some of the fictional problems I create for myself daily and allows me to think in a stream of consciousness.

His sandcastle, built over the years, has become increasingly substantial and imposing.

We are faced with an album offering excellent moments of ecstasy, including the opening “Glider” with its mild morning warmth.

Tycho's album Epoch is a refined blend of ambient and chill-out soundscapes infused with visual and artistic sensibilities. While it lacks the freshness of earlier works, it offers moments of peaceful ecstasy and contemplative beauty. The album remains consistent with the artist's well-established style, appealing especially to long-time listeners. Newcomers may prefer to start with Dive to fully enter Tycho's universe. Listen to Tycho's Epoch and dive into a peaceful journey of ambient sound and visual inspiration.

Crystallum is (for now) the essence of this maturation journey.

The album works very well, it’s a pleasure to listen to, and at certain moments, it even takes almost new wave departures in the arrangements.

Allegra Lusini emerges as a unique figure in Italian music, transitioning from traditional pop to a niche blend of dream-pop, shoegaze, and electro synth. Her album Crystallum showcases this evolution with ethereal vocals and dynamic arrangements. Highlight tracks like 'As when I am' and 'Cold water and gun' reveal the album's depth and warmth. The record is praised as an iconic piece worth listening to fully. Listen to Allegra Lusini's Crystallum and immerse yourself in a unique dream-pop journey filled with ethereal soundscapes.

Ballast of hyper-repetitive ambient sounds track by track, except in a few small points, and uniform and monotone singing.

As anti-commercial as you want but...NO DICE

The review of Meg's Psychodelice album criticizes it for its hyper-repetitive ambient tracks and uniform, monotone singing. Despite aiming to be anti-commercial, the album ultimately fails to impress. The reviewer expresses disappointment and questions the album's musical value. Discover why Meg's Psychodelice didn't resonate—read the full review and listen for yourself!

Solid and sharp bass lines find their adventure companions in the distorted samples of Talking With The U.F.O.s and especially in the sounds of indigenous and refined appearance in the opening tracks The Tribe and Namaste.

The duo has clearly entered the pantheon among the great names of that world.

Future Classics by Vini Vici showcases the duo’s mastery in psytrance, merging sharp basslines and exotic samples with modern electronic influences. The album highlights their place among leading global artists on Iboga Records. Tracks like The Tribe and Namaste use indigenous and sitar sounds, enriching the signature psytrance vibe. Representing the evolution from Goa and house music, it appeals to festival crowds and trance enthusiasts alike. Dive into Vini Vici's Future Classics and experience the evolution of psytrance today!

The liquid atmosphere felt within the title track... is sublime.

The final judgment must contend with this dual color palette... magnificent visions and predictable flattening.

Bonobo's Migration explores themes of personal and cultural journeys through a mix of ambient, instrumental, and ethnic sounds. While some tracks like the title piece and 'Bambro Koyo Ganda' stand out for their inspired and immersive qualities, the album overall feels uneven. The more ambient and minimal tracks succeed in showcasing Bonobo's skill, but attempts at pop collaborations come off as predictable. Despite its ambitions and moments of brilliance, Migration could have taken more creative risks. Dive into Bonobo's Migration and experience a rich blend of ambient and ethnic sounds. Listen now to discover its captivating moments!

Time travel in the damp fog of a possible 90s Bristol.

Singularity Is Near, where everything disintegrates, floating on the reflections of a melancholic ambient mirror of the present.

Chat Noir has progressively expanded its vocabulary with the incorporation of electronic structures and sounds.

The meeting of the two founding members with ambient music composer J Schwalm leads them to explore new territories, freely playing the outer limits of what avant-garde music can be.

Collaborating with J Schwalm, the band pushes avant-garde boundaries to create original, genre-defying music. Over 12 years, their evolving style has remained inventive and boundary-free.
