THE REVIEW

Innuendo is undoubtedly a record destined to remain in the history of rock. The band in question is none other than Queen, perhaps the best rock band ever, certainly the greatest live. The album is the last recorded before Freddie Mercury's death, dating back to early 1991.

It starts right away with the title track, "Innuendo," an epic song that mirrors certain structures of the legendary "Bohemian Rhapsody." The duration is 6 minutes, and this is certainly one of the band's best performances, as it is complete in every aspect. Then we have "I'm Going Slightly Mad," less structured but certainly exciting... a typical and eccentric Queen-style ballad. "Headlong" is hard rock through and through, just like "I Can't Live With You," perhaps the best on the album, where rock and sophisticated pop blend into an explosive mix. But the album has other gems as well. "Bijou" is melancholic but conveys immense emotion between Freddie's voice and Brian's Red Special. But the pinnacle is "The Show Must Go On," Freddie's testament, a rock song but essentially melancholic, already in the books of musical history... perfect and incredible. Finally, we list the glamorous "All God's People," epic and light at the same time...
In short, an album that is already history...

Recommended not only to fans of the band but to anyone wanting to hear true rock sound brought to its highest levels. A must-have album for your collection, undoubtedly a masterpiece...

INNUENDO is a slow agony: it’s almost as if you can see Freddie suffocating, at times falling, at times clinging to the other members of the group.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON is one of those epic, 'century-spanning' songs.

By PIXELID

Almost every lyric was influenced by the situation Freddie was going through, making the album very melancholic, and consequently moving.

In the opinion of the reviewer, Innuendo is definitely the most beautiful Queen album since the 80s onwards.

Innuendo emerges as a true masterpiece not only of the entire Queen discography but of the whole history of rock.

'The Show Must Go On' delivers one of the most intense vocal performances that human ears have ever heard.
