A Touch of Evil
This is the most accessible track from a brilliant album. Industrial according to Cabaret Voltaire

The Byrds- Recording “Have You Seen her Face” (silent studio footage) 1966 [RITY Archive]
It's all the fault of definitions
When I was a youngster, I also listened to the early Pink Floyd, the psychedelic ones, so when I listened to the Byrds, labeled psychedelic, the pieces didn’t add up, I couldn’t categorize them and it took me some time to appreciate them.
BLAME THE DEFINITIONS
Psychedelic Syd Barrett /Pink Floyd - "See Emily Play different from the psychedelic Byrds but a kid of about 10 years old wouldn’t grasp these nuances

I was torn between Destroyer and this one. Well, I think I made the right choice (by the way, a 1978 pressing still sealed!)

Rowdy Ramblers - Blackened Sea

Blackened Sea Live at Debaser 20:11-08.MPG

You can't find the album on YouTube... only these live rants filmed by a total nutjob...

But trust me, I couldn't not mention "Blessed by the tide turn"...

Gareth Smith is a ragged Swedish rocker, specialized in punk hardcore noise and the like...

In "Blessed by the tide turn" he calms down a bit and records a truly high-level Classic Rock'n'Roll...

Do you like rock without too many specific labels?

Yours!!!

Frijid Pink - House Of The Rising Sun (1970)
Tell Me Why - Frijid Pink
A BAND THAT I HAVE ALWAYS AVOIDED, PERHAPS TODAY IS THE FIRST TIME I LISTEN TO SOME SONGS, ONE NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION, THE OTHER I CHOSE BECAUSE I WANTED SOME FIRST TRIALS (I THINK). ANYWAY, IT SEEMS TO ME BY LOOKING THAT WE ARE IN DISTORTED BLUES TERRITORY AND I AM NOT A FAN OF BLUES IN ITS MANY FACES. THAT'S WHY I DODGED THE BULLET (ALSO DUE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF THE ACRONYM).

The Psychedelic Furs - Run and Run (Official Video)
The beautiful voice of Butler + the guitars of Ashton and Morris make PF a great post-punk band
