Rock Goes To College - The Police live at Hatfield Polytechnic 21.02.1979

Christ, it’s already been almost forty years; I can’t believe it, I really can’t.

Ashra - Nightdust (New Age Of Earth) I was a bit skeptical about this album (the last noteworthy one from Gottsching, as from here on we only have works that are good in terms of craftsmanship and experience) but at least this piece can be paired with "Suche & Liebe", "Jenseits", and the finale of "Pluralis". If it bores you, don’t skip the video entirely; maybe fast forward two minutes into the piece, but make sure to reach the end. The finale has a solo that rivals Gilmour and, above all, it doesn’t indulge in exaggerated high note saturations or furious accelerations... and calm down, Manuel, you’re a "stoned" Hare Krishna :D (just like he did a bit in the solos of "Inventions").

Xhol Caravan - All Green (1969) HQ Minute 3:15 - 5:40 what a hell of a jam! And listen to the rhythm the drummer brings... that final hit on the snare is done with a bounce off the cymbal, atomic! Then the rest is a half mimicry of Colosseum. A rather extravagant band, both in their recording style and look. After this album, I must say, there's a bit of boredom... the album "Hau" features two jams that couldn't be more tedious (not to mention the copy-paste from "Slightly all the time" by Soft).

losing oneself in the vastness of sound until becoming a mere dot in the void that manages to evoke much more than an orchestra surrounded by deaf ears. A dot floats, becoming more and more a friendly shape-------- 1 Day 1 Track | Whitelabrecs

The Stranglers - School Mam From the Album No More Heroes

This week I'm on top of my game with the stranglers

A great one. Having started like a young Drake with the Creation, he has transformed into a bard of deviance. Exiled in Japan, an encyclopedic discography but always great tricks up his sleeve. A cult Momus - I want you, but I don't need you.

Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) - (4 of 10)

Propaganda - Dr Mabuse Their videos are always quirky. One of the cultured synth pop groups, with various nods to the more “accessible/mainstream” styles of industrial. ("P. Machinery" is the other track I love... "Duel", on the other hand, is too "paninara").
