Janis Joplin "Raise Your Hand" on The Ed Sullivan Show

#edsullivanshow

From 1948 to 1971, every Sunday night Ed Sullivan hosted the greatest and most famous artists on his show, airing on CBS. About ten years ago, reissued in 12 DVDs, an Italian newspaper published the best performances. I am sharing them with you; there are truly wonderful things.

King Buffalo, the musical discovery of these past months, great band. I’ll try to share their gentle electric psychedelia with the connoisseur promoted on the field, the sincere @[IlConte]. Beautiful when they make the gentle strings roar. A lot of names come to mind quickly, but I don’t want to burn them. I've been investigating them for a while; I’m sure they’re worth it.
