Riusciranno i nostri eroi a ritrovare l'amico misteriosamente scomparso in Africa? After a fundamental career as a screenwriter, Scola confirms himself as one of the purest talents of Italian cinema in the '60s, also as a director, with this excellent film, a prelude to the masterpieces of the '70s, those of the "Commedia di piombo," of which he will perhaps be the absolute banner carrier.

Two days of delirium
And then a voice inside me shouted

Well-tuned in to #radiocapish

This morning, for "Baroque Mondays: at the court of the Capish King," we present a listen to a gem of the late Baroque: Carl Friedrich Abel (1723 – 1787), born in Köthen and the son of the viola da gamba player in the orchestra that J. S. Bach conducted in that city, left behind, among many other works, a series of anonymous compositions known as "The Drexel Manuscript" (Drexel Code 5871), from the collection of Joseph William Drexel (d. 1888) preserved in the New York Public Library. We will hear the suite in D minor, performed by P. Pandolfo.

Enjoy the listening.

So Much to Say - Intro
Ohh... what to say...
I remember when we started
(Ohh) So much to say...
And the exact time it ended
Ohh... what to say...
My life was in shambles
(Ohh) So much to say...
So much commotion
And no place to mend it
(Ohh) what to say...
A handful of pills
And a plan B
(Ohh) So much to say...
I wanted nothing to do with life
Or what was to become of me
What to say...
Loved no more
So was to say.
Every door shut I felt I heard
What...
I just wanted to sail away,
Float away
To the sounds of a southern hummingbird
A southern hummingbird... hum
