Fabrizio De André - La domenica delle salme (Official Video)

I came to this wonderful artist a bit late. "La Domenica delle Salme" is incomprehensible, it's a riddle, a puzzle, a true enigma. I searched here and there on the internet for its meaning years ago, and therein lies the wonder; once understood, one also grasps his sharpness, his exceptional intelligence, and his uniqueness!

De André absolves no one in this rugged song dedicated to the fall of the Berlin Wall. No one from before and not even from after, including all his colleagues from the leftist intelligentsia.

As in Buona Novella, he "betrays" his kind; in this masterpiece, he lines them all up and with a firing squad, he mows them down with his "powerful voice, suitable for a vaffanculo."

So we close, "perhaps," this fantastic day on debasios, a bit cheeky and halfway between the abyss and triumph.

I was driving and they played this song on the radio. How beautiful...

Hours and hours in the summer heat listening to it

welcome back scouse

Alice Phoebe Lou - Witches (official video) I have no idea who the young lady is, but I happened to hear her and I like it.

Van Morrison You Gotta Make It Through The World ... #pezziminori ... A Period Of Transition, or when an album title captures a reality ... an album that has always been treated poorly but which, in my opinion, contains truly remarkable pieces like this track that opened the album...

Computer Age Even the great Neil had to bow down, not to Disco but at least to synth-pop in 1982, and the result was an LP with him UNRECOGNIZABLE in voice, and sounds halfway between technological and traditional, like a KRAFTWERK-FOLK crossover... it's not his best album, I know... but it's not garbage either; he has always sought new things and tried to do almost everything.

Texarkana A bit of rock skepticism with our beloved and legendary R.E.M.

Brivido

My purpose here is to quietly let you know (in a very low voice so as not to be heard) about tracks or LPs that have been criticized or labeled as pop or commercial, but are actually well-made. However, due to the stereotype that "only those who do rock and the transgressive make great music, everything else is garbage or trivial," they are often overlooked or people feel embarrassed to share them. So, quietly, in a whisper, secretly, I'm pointing out that in 1979, Rettore released a pretty decent LP, in Italian, well before she became known for her transgressive style (from Kobra onward, still of good quality for being made in Italy in Italian). She created this very Italian pop album that introduced her to the general public. It wasn't just Splendido Splendente (a Disco-Music track, what rock is that, as she later boasted), but there were other interesting POP tracks (only another was the Disco "Divino Divina"), and instead, this album has only been remembered for the Red vinyl...

Elton John - Ballad Of A Well-Known Gun (Tumbleweed1 of 12) ... #pezziminori ... there was a time when Sir Reginald made great music ... this record is the brightest confirmation of that ... Tumbleweed Connection opened with this very tasty country-blues...

Lucio Battisti | Allontanando to remember the lucio panelliano...

A PERFECT CIRCLE - MER DE NOMS / FULL ALBUM

A̲ P̲e̲r̲fect C̲i̲rcle - Thirteen Step (Full Album)

So, there are records that are very, very beautiful, and then there are those that stick to you, deep in your bones, under your skin.

For me, APC are the band of mutation, discovery, and distance. I judge these records to be masterpieces. Nothing to do with TOOL but definitely and strongly sticky.
The enigma and the common thread, where do they lie? In Maynard James Keenan because with that voice he digs deep, makes you feel feminine, desirable, alive... when he raises the tone and when he whispers, it vibrates within you!
Not a wrong track on these two albums, two truly perfect side projects.

It was 2003. I, my ex, G, Turkish, and Frantz were at the Velvet bar in Rimini. The first time we were all meeting!!!

After a few beers, there were few words and a lot of wonder; there should also be a review from Turkish about it.

I remember little from that night, the hug from behind by my ex, the one I no longer have and will never have again, which at that time felt so taken for granted!!!

Macho - Cose there's Music in the Air (LP Version)
MACHO in "Cause there's music in the air" was the B-SIDE of the famous COVER of "I'm a man," a nice track that isn't overly commercial, never advertised. You can hear the Italian accent of the singer Marzio, but he sings well and, above all, Malavasi and his Change provide a solid backing, a Disco Music style from the late '70s that unfortunately isn't made anymore.
