Fairport convention_ what we did on our holidays (1969) Frankly, between the new singer who emerges by writing a piece like "Fotheringay", one of the best reinterpretations of Dylan that has ever been heard, the first two traditional songs of British folk brought back to life, and a genius guitarist and young boy who will give so much for decades to come, not to mention the bassist who will soon become one of the most important musical "archaeologists" of British folk, I would say that while we may not yet be at the masterpiece level, all the elements of a great album are certainly there.
