Finally, the air conditioning has done its job; the hot-cold air has laid out its carpet, and two or three nights out until morning in the first chill of August nights have completed the work. Now the sore throat has finally arrived and my voice is finally low and intercom-like, but now I’ve got a fantastic hoarse vocal output, so much so that I seduced the recorded voice of the supermarket lady, Johnny Cash has instantly given way to Tom Waits. 😉
