Blue Cheer - Doctor Please
Today it is too easy to define Blue Cheer as the temple of Heavy Psych. In 1968 they were the first to transform the Blues into a language so raw, primitive, hallucinated. Leigh Stephens remains one of the most innovative guitarists of that period, alongside John Cipollina and Jorma Kaukonen.
