A promise I never kept, because I tried and tried again, but I could never manage to establish a precise order, neither objectively nor subjectively. It's one of those rare cases where I truly struggled, because the trio with Roberto Roversi and the singer-songwriter trio '77 - '80 all deserve to be in a shared first position, or at least interchangeable depending on my mood.

The predominantly Mediterranean sound and the melancholic, decadent lyrics make this one of the absolute best albums by the Emilian artist. Personally, the tracks I love most from this record are the title track, "Il Cucciolo Alfredo," and "Disperato Erotico Stomp," but the last three ballads are also fantastic (I have a soft spot for "Barcarola").
