Seventy-six years ago, Terence Charles White "Snowy" to friends was born in southern England, specifically in the county of Devon, in Barnstaple, a town of 34,000 inhabitants (source: Wikipedia). He played as a solo artist and collaborated with many people as a guitarist before forming his own band. A lot has been written about him in relation to the blues, but I want to recall just one aspect related to his work with Pink Floyd, for whom he played and recorded various pieces, namely when he was called as a second guitarist after the passing of Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett to play on the album "Animals," including a central solo in the track "Pigs on the Wing."
