Hi guys, I’m still alive after 14 surgeries in 87 days. It’s been two and a half years, and the best part is probably yet to come. Damn, they could have just let me die in peace. "We took it by the hair." "But take your sister's hair." After a double fasciotomy for compartment syndrome, infections, I risked my life and my leg, but given my young (???) age (I laughed, Cassius, I’m 51; I’m neither young nor old, but definitely not young).

I’ll tell you in bits, but look, it’s a gut-punch story. It’s been, well, slowly getting better. I’m left with an open wound on my calf that I’ll have to treat for life. That doctor ruined me, and he’s just 15 meters from my house. I have to walk under his window every day, and of course, the way I’m built, I go off like "murderer", "idiot, do what you did to me to your kids."

Hi, have a good evening, Dave.
