In "Miles: the autobiography of a jazz legend," which I enjoyed reading at least thirty years ago while working at the Venice Biennale in the Cinema sector at the Lido, as it was recommended and lent to me by a dear colleague (I won’t name names, such as Marino Pitteri) who still collaborates with the Autonomous Entity, there is a quote from Miles Dewey Davis III: "For me, music and life are a matter of style." And nothing, actually no, here we hear him in one of his last live performances; he would pass away three months later from pneumonia followed by two consecutive strokes at the age of sixty-five (ahem, my age).
