Rambo (film 1982) TRAILER ITALIANO
What is the most surprising thing you know about the movie Rambo? As incredible as it may sound, Sylvester Enzio Stallone was horrified after the first screening of "Rambo."
He found the film so terrible that he thought it would mark the end of his career.
In a 2005 interview with Howard Stern, Stallone said:
"My manager and I were so disgusted that we went to vomit in an alley behind the theater.
We tried to buy the negatives from the producer to destroy them. We didn't want the film to be released.
I swear on my children's heads, it's true. I tried to buy the negatives to burn them. But they didn't want to."
This first version of the film, this rough cut, lasted 3 hours and contained, according to Stallone, a barrage of ridiculous scenes:
"There was a scene where Rambo kills an owl, then says: 'Take that, you shit-eating rat.'"
Stallone negotiated with the producers to reduce the film to 90 minutes by cutting almost all the dialogue.
