30 years without Kurt... In reality, the news of his tragic end was communicated a few days later, on April 8th. It was Saturday night, and I was coming home after an evening spent at the historic local venue "Perchè No" in Verbania, where Senzabenza, Statuto, and even Converge had played; I turned on the television and learned about Kurt's suicide. I vaguely remember my reaction, certainly not positive, considering what I felt for that boy from the gray American province. I always thought of him as a sad, humble person, with a shy character, and above all, terribly LONELY despite worldwide success.
