Yesterday I watched three films by Darren Aronofsky (the only one I had seen before was the remarkable "The Wrestler" with the legendary Philip André "Mickey" Rourke Jr.). I started with "π - The Holes of Delirium," which I dropped a little past halfway through. I then decided to go for "Black Swan," having read reviews that intrigued me, and I enjoyed it in its "unease." Finally, I looked for "The Whale," released last year, but it wasn't available for streaming (at least not for free), so I chose "Mother!" and, like "π," I gave up on this one too two-thirds in due to total loss of interest and nothing...
