Robert Lawrence Welch Jr. was one of the guitarists in Fleetwood Mac in the early '70s, but his first instrument in childhood was the clarinet. He was born in Hollywood, California, and chose to leave life voluntarily in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of sixty-six.
