As already pointed out, Battlegods, the good Ian McDonald has left us forever. He was a co-founder of King Crimson and Foreigner, a singer and saxophonist in the early KC, as well as a multi-instrumentalist. As a solo artist, he released only one album in '99, namely "Drivers Eyes."
