Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

I didn't love grunge; I wasn't influenced, affected, or captivated by it.
Even though I was surrounded by classmates dressed like Kurt Cobain & Co., perpetually angry, I couldn’t engage with it musically. My soul is too British. However, when Nevermind was released, it was impossible to remain indifferent. I couldn't either…
The cassette in the photo is proof of that. The epochal importance of this work cannot be questioned.
To pay homage to the 30th anniversary of its release, I chose the song that Kurt probably hated the most, which instead was my first encounter with Nirvana themselves.
Sure, one could say, "there are many better ones on that record." Well, not for me.
