'Tales From Monographic Oceans': a rambling journey across a stretch of sea, cutting through the isthmuses of some discographies (37, 10) 'Family Men': that is, the white pop with a very high concentration of black soul/funk from Daryl Hall (the light one, blond with blue eyes that you might think is Swedish) and John Oates (the darker one, with black eyes and mustache, whom you might mistake for a Turk). They didn’t shy away from hitting - even quite high - the charts, so it must be something to sneer at, right? There you go, let’s keep it going, let's hurt ourselves...
