Infernal Love is an important album. Therapy? records it practically in secret because they fear being influenced and morally crushed if they let the label guys hear their progress. Why this fear? Because they come from Nurse and Troublegum, which are two ticking time bombs, while their new ideas sound different. Andy, Michael, and Fyfe (who will soon leave) are joined by cellist and guitarist Martin McCarrick. Cello and saxophone: elements that are poorly received when the band decides - after further pressure - to let the tracks be heard (they decided after seeing a label rep who had a Husker Du tattoo, but it still went badly). The record, however, is a masterpiece for the writer. Refined atmospheres where Andy plays with his perverse lyrics. This is one of my favorites. Jude The Obscene
