Dookie. It was released today, 27 years ago.
Say what you want, punk, commercial, blah blah, for me it’s a great album that paved the way for many similar bands that came after. I still have the CD and I still listen to it. Even though it’s far from my "usual suspects," it was a significant musical chapter of my adolescence.
What a year that year.
