Humble Pie - I Walk on Gilded Splinters (Dr John Cover)

Beat-Rhythm & Blues-Soul-Hard-Black
Simply the essence of Rock and Roll
Steve Marriott among the greatest of all time (54)

"My God, he took my breath away.... all 4 shows captured Steve at the absolute zenith of his powers... I’m sorry that He, Greg and Dee are not here to enjoy it with the rest of us"

Not just a song but something between a voodoo ritual and an orgasm, an imperious rock blues ride with guitars nobly mistreated, deadly pauses and restarts (does it remind you of anyone?! It has always reminded me, we’ll talk about it later), the VOICE and harmonica of Steve... because ever since he was a kid, it’s said he played the harmonica - in a divine way.

Amen
