Here, a piece by one of those Girls who started it all in the early twentieth century is completely transformed; Ida Prather (Cox ... but I never understood why they have to take their husband's name, never!!) vaudeville-gospel-blues singer alongside others and the more famous Ma and Bessie was a great singer and woman, one of the very few who wrote her own songs and managed her own affairs. One who wrote and sang in those days about the lives of black people, workers, a spokesperson for a very early women's independence... as much as could be done.
And then there was that crazy stuff about the “Original Rabbit Foot Minstrels” ... “The Foots”... stuff that only @[imasoulman] or
