Lana Del Rey's new single is a cover of the American classic "Summertime" by George Gershwin. The piece has been performed in the past by Janis Joplin and Sam Cooke, among others. It is a charity effort for the famous philharmonic orchestras of New York and Los Angeles, to address the economic damage that the pandemic has caused to them.
