This docufilm tells the story of the "Desert Rock" scene that characterized Palm Springs, California, from the early '80s to the first half of the '90s. It was a musical ferment of various genres, from hardcore punk to jazz, from metal to the more psychedelic rock, which led to the birth of bands like Kyuss and laid the groundwork for the emergence of new genres such as stoner rock. The entire narrative is told in the first person by members of Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of The Stone Age, and Dave Grohl, who experienced moments here. They say it's highly recommended.
