There's little to mock here; this is a fantastic piece, a piece of Sanremo history. Thirty years have passed, many songs have faded into oblivion, but this love has never left. A young, stunning, and emotional Mietta, the Maestro completely relaxed, they sing beautifully, the modulation and blend of their voices are perfect. Even the lyrics are good—nothing like dududu dadada and trottolino amoroso; those are intentional digressions, and perhaps the dududu is a jab at Paolo Conte (but that's just my brilliant insight). Even the scruffy kitten who will meow or the big cat that will scratch was put there just to poke fun at the Vattene Amore operation that involved him.
