From the West Side Chicago Blues comes Otis Rush Jr., one of the not-so-rare left-handed guitarists who nonetheless tuned his guitar like a right-handed player, just like Albert King, Coco Montoya, Dick Dale, and Doyle Bramhall II. Many were inspired by him, including Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as Eric Clapton and Peter Green, not to mention Duane Allman and Mick Taylor, and why not, even Jimmy Page and Johnny Winter... He left us due to complications from a stroke just last autumn and that’s it...
