I'm still interested in what these two had to say (I've seen the subtitles in some TV series, the music made by them, usually a bit strange, the (tele)films and the music as a reflection). "Fruit at the Bottom," a beautiful album, very funky; I believe Prince was proud of it as well. They were at the election and they performed it very well, after having been kicked out of "the Revolution," of which they were basically the core because they are multi-instrumentalists. Just look at the gaze of the ugliest one—whether it's Lisa or Wendy, the one on the piano—pure attraction, love, possession, but in a nasty way. I notice it, and I'm sure Roger noticed it too, as a good star who has the exclusivity over everything, truly over everything and everyone. I think he even recognized their value—naturally lesser than his—but when "Purple Rain" won the Oscar, it seems they talked about it and "were holding it in their hands" (Oscar, what are you doing to me??, you take everything tonight). And then it's funky!!! And we love it. Wendy & Lisa - Waterfall (1987, US # 56, UK # 66)
