Passionate about jazz, our Gábor Szabó started playing the guitar at the age of 14.
About twenty years later, he founded Skye Records with two partners, with which he would also record 4 of his albums.
Before various liver and kidney diseases took him away from us at the young age of 45 (in '82), he managed to record as many as 29 albums.
A curiosity: the song "Gypsy Queen," included in the medley "Black Magic Woman" by Santana on their album "Abraxas" from '70, was originally by Szabó and that's it...
