Stories that should be told (1) Angus MacLise Angus MacLise - DREAMWEAPON III (LP Preview) now available from BOO-HOORAY Lou, John, and Sterling were upset: how could this be! For the first time someone was willing to pay them to play, and he was so mad? But Angus was adamant and left them forever. "Sellouts," he said, and walked away without looking back. Fortunately for those three (and us), Sterling remembered the little sister of a friend of his... But that is another story. Meanwhile, Angus wandered the world until he reached Nepal, where he settled. He continued to play, write poetry, and study esoteric thought. âAngus was one of the greatest drummers of all time and one of the greatest poets of all time,â said LaMonte Young, who had him with him in his Theater of Eternal Music and, luckily, someone recorded some of his music. He left us at just 41 years old, and I donât think he ever knew (nor cared to know) what happened to his former friends Lou, John, and Sterling (and the little sister of their friend)... Those sellouts!
