The profession of Latin crooner tailored for the enjoyment of mature female audiences isn’t for everyone, nor can one pretend to be Julio without actually being one. (He too had a career cut short in its infancy, but the parallels with the madrileno and madridista don’t go further, and couldn’t).
It’s not even enough to have a name ending in -ela, as long as it’s not Manuela. And it’s not sufficient to have a phone receiver with wings.
