Well, if only there had really been one, let's say they/we tried, eeeh, and nothing...
Anyway, "Strawberries and Blood" is a film from 1970 that won the Jury Prize at the 23rd Cannes Film Festival, based on the book "Strawberry Statement" by James Simon Kunen, inspired by true events, which lends itself to representing the different souls of that movement. In the student uprising in New York, against the sale to the military of land intended for services for the African American community by a university whose research was half funded by the Ministry of Defense, one can find the anti-authoritarian stance, the struggle of the civil rights movement, pacifism, and the freedom of science from the influences of powerful interests.
