The Doors - Unhappy Girl "Jim Morrison & The Doors on the Road" (13) One of the pre-demo songs by the Doors. Before Ray discovered how much he could enjoy his "own" keyboard bass, it was one of the songs they used to evaluate the bassist candidates. When it was decided to include it on the second album, the mournful atmospheres arising from Krieger's bottleneck playing and Manzarek's literally upside-down part took over in the studio. With the lyrics, it seems that Jim is actually speaking about himself, unhappy and already a prisoner of his own project.
