Kings Of Convenience - Misread
Misread is from 2004 and tells, in a rhythmic and delicate way, how sometimes a friendship can crack due to a misunderstanding.
In a landscape reminiscent of Impressionist paintings, two boys with guitars and intertwining voices sing and play as if during a trip at the end of high school.
Beautiful song, just like I was that time when you asked me out, and I, thinking you were joking, laughed in your face - misunderstanding - I'm sorry, I thought we were just friends.

Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe were both born in Bergen, Norway in 1975.
In the summer of 1998, they decided to play together under the name Kings of Convenience, inspired by the fact that they found themselves in London with nothing but two acoustic guitars.
