Naevus is an English duo formed in London by Lloyd James and Joanne Owen, active since the late 1990s and associated with apocalyptic folk, post‑punk, and dark wave. Their work has featured collaborators such as John Murphy, Rose McDowall, and Matt Howden. Note: a separate German band named Naevus released the stoner/doom album Sun Meditation on Rise Above.
