THE REVIEW

Genre: noise (???) Bravo!!! Truly bravo to these Miuz..

After a good first, an excellent second, and a boring third, they (literally) reach the end of their rope. And they get there in a surprising way with a twist you certainly don't expect. Indeed, it's the noise that serves as the glue for this "Black Holes And Revelations," and it's blatantly evident when listening to tracks like "Starlight" (with a riff very Liquido-style like pa-pa-pa-papapappa) or the single "Supermassive black (Toxic) hole" where the Spearsian influences are felt, and the only one to save face is Sigismondi.

I was talking about noise. Yes, because the shift, absolutely independent, towards this genre (which many will not appreciate) gives an identity to the Mettiu Bellamy group Spa who continue with their insufferable reverb both in "City Of Delusion" (this song makes you laugh with its Arab-Muslim-Al Jazeera interlude) and in "Map Of The Problematique," with depechemodian synthesizers that practically have David Gahan turning in his grave (he's dead, right?). But beware, it's not the usual noise like Sonic Youth, Liars, Velvet Underground, Melt Banana..

It's really stuff to break the windows, to make cats screech, to be like nails on a chalkboard, like TG4, in short, I am really happy.. Maybe now with this breath of noise independence, the Miuz won't spend every minute on MTV, Hitlist Italia, Dismissed, Pimp my ride or cook-off trials..

WHAT DO YOU SAY ???? THEY DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE A NOISE CD ??? LET ME UNDERSTAND.. BUT THEN THIS IS NOISE!!! NOISE!!!! THEN THIS ALBUM SUCKS: 0 STARS

I know where from which black hole Mettiu got these songs

Summary by Bot

This review critiques Muse's album Black Holes And Revelations for its surprising shift toward a noisy and experimental sound. The reviewer expresses frustration with the band's reverb-heavy style and genre blending, noting influences from various artists but ultimately disliking the album's direction. Tracks like 'Starlight' and 'Supermassive Black Hole' are highlighted as examples of this controversial change. Despite a sarcastic tone, the rating ironically awards 5 stars.

Black Holes And Revelations may cost Muse the loss of a few fans, but when you truly take artistic risks, as in this case, it seems that the game is worth the candle.

The fourth track, 'Map Of The Problematique,' is the first bullseye of Black Holes And Revelations thanks to a perfect blend of electronic and rock.

"Supermassive Black Hole is the worst track on the album, and what do they do? They release it as the first single."

"Knights of Cydonia is an excellent piece, the best of the album: long, fast, with an 'Epic' streak."

By just_a_dream

"Our Hopes And Expectations - Finally, after three years, the long-awaited fourth chapter of the three from Devon takes shape."

"The Muse are certainly no longer the ones of 'Showbiz' but courageously move forward to quench their thirst for new experimentation."

By Roberto De Filippis

 The Muse do not disappoint.

You must pay for your crimes against the earth.

By Jack Darko

"Those distorted guitars grabbed me and dragged me into oblivion, while the falsetto singing enchanted me like a siren."

"A gem that paves the way for a new type of music, a mix of electronic, rock, metal, and... spacecrafts."
