The first album from the Norwegians draws on blues tones and pays some homage to the grunge of those times. It's hard to define the genre as close to stoner rock. Not easy on the first listen, nor on the second. The sound is raw, and the singer's shrill and acidic voice sometimes clashes with the rest of the band. All in all, it's enjoyable to listen to, particularly track number 3, Hogwash, and the pop-punk Frances. The lyrics are essential and don't have a precise meaning. For me, it is the first album by Motorpsycho, and I want to delve deeper into it.
"Ghiaccio Bollente: the best and most concise definition to describe 'Lobotomizer.'"
"The sounds of Lobotomizer are awful, but there is already a remarkable attitude. Listening to it now is not very pleasant, we were so naive and inexperienced but very determined to move forward."
