But how can you like Metallica? They are the most sold, repetitive, and non-technical metalheads ever seen!
Back to the album itself, it's not bad: "Blackened", "And Justice For All", "One" and "Harvester of Sorrow" are, incredibly enough, interesting and quite original pieces although the production isn't the best.
The impression is of a mediocre band trying, perhaps successfully, to produce a better and more original album than their previous ones, among which is the dreadful "Master of Puppets". It's the best Metallica album and stands out from the rest of their trash like a beacon in the dark, but it trembles in comparison with albums by Iron Maiden or Judas Priest.
Metallica, you should have retired after this album!
