Let me preface by saying that I am not one of the most ardent fans of Manowar, and I also write that this is the only album I appreciate from this American band with over 20 years of career behind them, an album that fans of the kings of metal have awaited for 6 long years. An album of pure epic metal, 11 tracks, for a total of 46min and 37sec, highlight the almost comical interpretation of "Nessun Dorma", nothing to take away from the excellent Eric Adams but surely there will not be a follow-up to this vocal performance in Italian. Returning to this "Warriors Of The World", there is also an instrumental track "Valhalla", a song that has very little of epic or heavy metal "Fight For Freedom". Notable mentions go to the opener "Call To Arms", the epic "Sword In The Wind", and the title track "Warriors Of The World United".
Concluding this review, I recommend this album to those who appreciate branches of metal such as heavy, power, and epic, and I do not recommend it to long-time Manowar fans, those who go crazy for "Into Glory Ride". Rating: 4, worth the purchase.
The second part is a real punch in the stomach of pure black metal and a real fury that never stops.
The last three songs are fired from start to finish, pure hits like house of death.
‘The title track is instead monumental, one of the best Manowar songs ever with sacred monsters like ‘Hail and Kill’ or ‘Brothers of Metal.’”
“There are still people who, having read two random lyrics, will forever brand Manowar as failures or at best, inflated.”
Warriors Of The World represents the definitive rebirth of Manowar.
Swords In The Wind is poignant, magical, epic, combative, and solemn.
