THE REVIEW

Enchanting and profound spirit, Jeff Buckley.
An immense album. The genius of an artist emerges, impetuous.
His love, his hate, the irreducible tension of his soul. The search for God, the wink to death.
It's an epidermal album. The emotions it is filled with are projected onto your skin. Ambassador of his soul, an unparalleled and multifaceted voice. Heterogeneous in musical solutions, it alternates lyrical pop, warms it with pure rock riffs, and enriches it with gems of sacred music (unreachable "Hallelujah", Cohen's cover, secular proof of God's existence).
Before vanishing forever into mysterious waters, Jeff Buckley left a perpetual trace of emotion and wonder in contemporary music.

Grace is the most beautiful debut album I have ever listened to.

Listen to this CD, and your life will change; I don’t know if it’s for better or worse, but it will change...

Sure, if he didn't whine so much... sounds like Pink Floyd with a beaten dog instead of Gilmour.

Too melodramatic, over the top... the others in the band are anonymous: they sound like Hootie & The Blowfish.

I believe Jeff Buckley’s voice borders on perfection!

Not a single note or letter of the entire album is placed by chance, almost composing a mosaic made of pieces more unique than rare!

The tracks ... become INDELIBLE MARKS, they become TEARS, they become ditches that carve my bones.

Grace is just that moment. The one that doesn’t come back anymore. And that you dream of forever.

Jeff Buckley wrote music like a painting, like a poem, a coherent work with a much broader vision.

Grace is lysergic, it is catharsis, excitement, explosion... and then coolness, calmness, introspection, all at the same time.
