What's better for having some fun than a brutal goregrind band? Well, obviously: a split with four brutal goregrind bands!

There's not much to say: this is a gem for connoisseurs, a carefree gore-story, damn (necessary adjective) and delightful if taken in homeopathic doses; the hardcore fans with perfect pitch (certainly not me) might also amuse themselves by spotting the differences between Insalubrity, Excrescence, and my favorites, Anal Stabwound (forget about fissures...), as if they had a crossword puzzle in their hands. An indescribable sonic assault, drums mercilessly pounding on the heads of the ladies at the tea circle, snares filled with repressed malice, gurgling, guitars sharper than a miracle blade razor, and torn-out, uncontrollable grunts worthy of a sweaty salmonellosis. With Anal Stabwound sounding even more lo-fi: like washing your cock with sandpaper.

Partially different, however, is the proposal of the last band in the lineup, Theurgy, with more spiritual themes, featuring more discernible and virtuosic guitar work that draws more from classic Death metal. Compared to the others, the vocalist sounds even more like a happy-hearted swine, but I guess it serves to convey the complexity and intricacy of certain philosophical themes. After the first three groups, they will seem like a glass of sugary water to you.

A forbidden pleasure I indulge in occasionally, even if they might be a bunch of no-good scoundrels... DISTENDED WITH PARASITES...

Until next time.
