Il Rovescio Della Medaglia

La Bibbia Nonsoloprog

Their instrumentation is among the most interesting in Europe.

The sin that guides us between Sodom and Gomorrah is chaotic, acidic, tribal, boiling, metallic, swirling, throbbing.

Explore the groundbreaking sounds of Il Rovescio Della Medaglia and experience the rich legacy of Italian progressive rock with La Bibbia.

Il Rovescio della Medaglia

La Bibbia Hic and Nunc

The album... is a pleasant and introspective project, much more homogeneous than other albums of the era.

The quartet knows what they are doing, they are fully aware.

Explore Il Rovescio della Medaglia's La Bibbia and experience the raw power of 1970s Italian progressive rock!

You and La Bibbia

Il rovescio della medaglia

Il Rovescio della Medaglia is a Roman progressive rock band formed at the end of 1970. After earning an RCA deal via the Viareggio Avant-Garde and New Trends Festival, they issued a classic trilogy: La Bibbia (1971), the Hegel-inspired Io come io (1972), and Contaminazione (1973), which reworked ideas from Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier with arrangements by Luis Enríquez Bacalov. Known for ferocious live shows, a massive amplification setup, and early albums recorded without keyboards.
