The production of an album is very important for a band, it must be meticulously crafted, and it's only in this way that a radio hit becomes known in every aspect. Unfortunately, this is not the case for IL PICCOLO BU with their "Noi siamo del 2000." Listening to the album, you get the sensation that every track is tailored for radio play, both for the themes in "Ho scritto una canzone pop" and the musicality in "Barba", but unfortunately, this hasn't happened due to poor commercialization. Everything is still possible, just to be clear, but I think a careful analysis of the market, competitors, and their own musical reality was not conducted. Noi siamo del 2000 is truly a great piece of work, each track flows pleasantly, without pauses, without breath, the synths dominate, and the guitars play gently. The mixing should be improved, but perhaps it is this very flaw that makes Il Piccolo Bu unique, much like it was for ICani in their debut album. It's a shame, really a shame that everything should vanish like this. Forgetting is easy, you just need not remember.

"Noi siamo del duemila" pops up with generational reflections and ironic moments like "Le Comunali."

"Noi siamo del 2000" is simply a sly album that will appeal to the same people it mocks and empathizes with.

Il Piccolo Bu points the finger at themselves, engaging in introspective self-criticism.

The album is a band that is fun yet dramatically nihilistic, which you may like or not.
